Dr. Jill C. Aiken is a board certified pediatrician with more than twenty years of experience working with small, medium, and large medical practices and hospital systems. A graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, where she completed her residency in pediatrics in 1998, Dr. Aiken resides in Pawleys Island, SC and is currently practicing general pediatrics with Tidelands Health Pediatrics.

Prior to moving to Pawleys Island in 2020, Dr. Aiken practiced in Beaufort, SC and the greater Charleston, SC area, where she established Sandlapper Pediatrics, a successful small private practice located in Mount Pleasant, SC that was purchased by Roper St. Francis Physician Partners in 2011. Upon selling Sandlapper Pediatrics to RSFPP, Dr. Aiken became a partner in RSFPP, and she practiced in the Roper St. Francis Healthcare system until the unwinding of its in-house pediatrics service line in 2015. 

Dr. Aiken's practice interests include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, and anxiety. She is also interested in community healthcare projects, and is a recipient of two (2003, 2009) Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) grants awarded by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). 

A Fellow of the AAP, Dr. Aiken has served on the board of the South Carolina chapter of the AAP (SCAAP) since 2009. She was elected and has served as an At-Large Member of SCAAP since 2018.
